Iranian short film ‘Dissect’ is set to participate at the Iranian Film Festival of Zurich (IFFZ) in Switzerland.
‘Dissect’, directed by Siavash Shahabi, will vie at the sixth edition of the festival, according to the Iranian Youth Cinema Society.
“Police have entered a school to investigate the sudden death of a student,” a synopsis for the film teases.
Earlier reports said the Iranian short film ‘Short Wave’ will also vie in the event.
The Iranian Film Festival of Zurich (IFFZ) defines itself as “a platform for presenting the Iranian culture and tradition and for building a bridge between different cultures by the means of the universal language of art – and especially the 7th art, cinema”, an online submission platform says.
The sixth edition of IFFZ will take place online due to the coronavirus pandemic on May 28-June 3.
